QuAInS® Quality Big Data Research Center

As early as the famous control chart proposed by Dr. Walter Shewhart in the 1920s and 1930s, statistical theory and methods have been increasingly used for quality management and improvement in various industries. Statistical quality management is well-known are well known in enterprises. In sharp contrast to this, most domestic companies still have a big gap compared with Western companies in terms of quality and process improvement in "speaking with data."

In the era of big data, decisions are increasingly being made based on data and analysis, not experience and intuition. The well-known American publication "Industry Weekly" as early as 2012 based on an extensive survey of top companies pointed out that companies should make full use of big data technology to better convert process and quality data into increased revenue and cost savings, and improve sustainable profitability ability.
